Our mission: CNY Bounty aspires to provide easy access of local, fresh food to all Central New York (CNY) consumers. We support local farmers and producers by creating new markets for locally-produced foods, to strengthen the area’s economy and provide healthy food to all citizens of Central New York in an environmentally responsible way. 

Fresh food and local products: this is a passion that we and CNY producers share with an increasing number of our neighbors. Headquartered in Morrisville, New York, CNY Bounty’s territory embraces mostly small and medium-sized farms -- dictated in part by the physical landscape.  Existing distribution systems generally cater to larger farms that can supply a steady, high-volume stream of goods, sometimes at lower prices.  Smaller farms tend to have lower profit margins, can afford less hired labor, and find that rising energy costs eat up an increasingly painful portion of the budget.  Simply put, local consumer demand for local products can make or break the profitability of local producers.

How can our farmers find efficient, affordable ways to distribute great local goods? Getting their products to eager consumers is one of the biggest hurdles that CNY’s small and mid-scale agricultural producers face. Bounty’s mission is to help solve this issue in a way that increases both value and convenience to local residents.

How it works: It’s a snap! Each week, our Bounty staff coordinates current product availability with farmers and producers and then uploads onto our website the week’s products and prices, along with photos and descriptions.

Online, at www.cnybounty.com, between Friday at noon and Monday at noon, you simply place your order.  Bounty staff collect from participating farms on Wednesday morning, drive the products to the distribution center, and then distributed to individual orders on every Wednesday or Thursday afternoon  -- delivered directly to customers’ doorsteps or to nearby pick-up sites, strategically located throughout the area. 

Free delivery makes this really easy, for orders of more than $35 and for orders of any size at Bounty pick-up points. 

CNY Bounty operates year-round and currently works with more than 90 farmers and producers.  All processed/prepared products contain at least 25% locally grown ingredients, except where products are not grown in the region, such as coffee and cacao.
